Ecological Design
Tensile structures by definition are based on a structural optimisation which implies the use of the least material possible. The textile membranes work at the same time as a light surrounding envelope and minimal structure.
By hand: each Orugami can be mounted and demounted manually, reduced to small pieces that can be transported easily everywhere. Specially indicated for installations in remote places.
Without heavy machinery or electricity, only the energy and ability of expert installers is needed.
It can be installed for seasons, or its location can be changed without damaging or leaving trace in the place of installation
Despite them being light and detachable structures, they are stable, durable and resilient to the outdoors. With the right maintenance they can last more than 10 years.
